luckily gas is only 1.06 (per litre)????????
exchange rate?
eh?

Greg Frankson has been running a slam there for less than a year, he's a great guy, put me up, runs a big, fun show (friday was their season opener / gala event - we were all wearing suits, yo!) and i guess i was their first international feature.... well the first "southerner" to ask (it was great, he kept saying i was from the dirty south.... hee hee) anywhoo. there was some great poetry, and great love to be found in that audience -
took a car tour of the Capital saturday & then drove 8 hours home...

slept a bit - and now i'm off to buffalo tonight to hang with Gabrielle, before my first show in Grand Rapids monday night -

so yeah, i'm gone -

love to all, i'm gonna miss my new england peeps -
PLEASE SUPPORT BOBBY & NICK as they hold down Speakout! for me!

Also I will have albums available at the Java Hut, AS220 (on slam nights) and hopefully Cantab (oh yeah, if anybody's going to the cantab soon and wants to drop off CD's to Simone, there's a free CD in it for ya - i'll leave a bunch w/ Jeff at the Hut, call me & i'll make arrangements)

so yeah - you won't have Alex Charalambides to kick around for a while, i thought i'd give everybody else a chance to kick me around

peace and all that

You're now from the Dirtay dirtay? Three six mafia, don't fo'get, foo!

(ahh, I miss Memphis) :)

Canadians are cool. At least the ones I've had the pleasure of meeting. Wish I could've seen you in a suit.

Nicky wants to start freestyling at my house and work on his rap flow again. When he gets down to it for real, I have the iso-booth in my recording lab classroom and we can get down to the business of recording. I can't wait - who knows, maybe there will be something waiting when you get back to listen to! (more than one poet, for that matter).

Teach everyone how to say Wussta and have a safe and exciting tour! (PS - you are not someone I'd kick at all. ;)
